Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born 25th August, 1949) is an American television chef and host. She was also an instructor for the Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at Food Network. Food Network. Anne Burrell, with her signature spiky blonde locks and an energised persona on Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Cook series, provides an easy and straightforward cooking techniques that are suitable for the home cook. Chef Burrell is also a seasoned veteran of New York City's best restaurants. She has also learned about Italy's food traditions and its culture and the surrounding landscape. While growing up in Upstate New York, Chef Burrell discovered a love for food and cooking from an early age. The Culinary Institute of America has sparked her interest in restaurant management after she earned an English/Communications degree at Canisius College Buffalo NY. I enjoyed every moment during my time of The Culinary Institute of America she says. I just couldn't get enough out of the experience. After graduation, chef Burrell went on to spend one period of time in Italy studying at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners as well as working for La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin-starred restaurant in Tuscany. While in Italy, Chef Burrell gained an appreciation and understanding of Italian culinary traditions. It made a huge impact on how she views food. Burrell was a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens children living with challenges. She is also a Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador, where she is an advocate for children with diabetes and awareness. Burrell travels extensively across the nation in her capacity in the capacity of mentor and an invited speaker, where she talks about her career and love of cooking. In her journey to culinary excellence, Anne has always said I feel so lucky to be able to share my passion for life with people.
